Inst. Buckden, Nov. 16, 1290. EVERSHOLT. R. Master Stephen of Weston (status not given) p. by Peter de Hagham, proxy of the Prior of the Hospitallers in England, to the church of Eversholt vacant by the death of Robert de la Mare.
That says that Stephen Weston in 1290-11-16 became prior following the death of Robert de la Mare. But Henry de Sewell is said to have been installed on 1290-10-26. What’s going on? Blast this snippet view!
