Mark Wynter was born at Eversholt, near Woburn, Bedfordshire, in 1827. He was the son of Hephzibah and George Jacob Wynter of Eversholt and was baptised in the village church on 12th October 1828. He was active as a photographer in Seaford. The story of his life is told better here.
