Accident to Mr F Kingsley
Whilst Mr Frank Kingsley, aged 73, of Lower Rads End, Eversholt, was returning from a short walk on Christmas Eve, he slipped on some frozen snow and fractured a thigh.
It was some time before his cries for help were heard by Mrs George Carr, near whose house he had fallen. Neighbours carried him home, and Dr Barnes came as fast as the terrible state of the roads would permit.
On Tuesday Mr Kingsley was taken by ambulance to Bedford Hospital.
Frank must have recovered well. His death was registered in Ampthill registration district in Q4 1953.
